Su­per Bowl 50 tick­ets av­er­ag­ing, gulp, $ 6,000

TiqIQ re­port says most ex­pen­sive seat costs $ 26,000

Re­sale ticket prices for the Su­per Bowl 50 matchup be­tween the Den­ver Bron­cos and Carolina Pan­thers were av­er­ag­ing about $ 6,000 as of Mon­day morn­ing, ac­cord­ing to a re­port from TiqIQ. com.

Theweb­site, a re­sale hub, said the cost is roughly 38 per­cent less than the av­er­age price of a seat at last year’s Su­per Bowl of $ 9,722.

The min­i­mum ticket cost for the Feb. 7 bat­tle at Levi’s Sta­dium in Santa Clara, Calif., was $ 3,279 as of Mon­day morn­ing for a spot in the 400 level.

TiqIQ said suites for the game are for sale at a cost of up to $ 544,000. The most ex­pen­sive ticket the site found was more than $ 26,100 for a seat in sec­tion 116, row 4.

Stub­Hub. com, an­other ticket re­sale site, showed many Su­per Bowl 50 seats still open Mon­day.

The web­site Vivid Seats. com found 31 per­cent of the tick­ets al­ready sold are in the hands of Cal­i­for­ni­ans. TiqIQ re­ported fans from Colorado and North Carolina were close be­hind, with Bron­cos fans tak­ing the edge.

The web­site PrimeS­ on Mon­day was of­fer­ing air­fare, lodg­ing and ticket pack­ages up to $ 7,000.

Bron­cos’ sea­son- ticket hold­ers were put into a lot­tery, and some found out Mon­day whether they were cho­sen for an op­por­tu­nity to buy a face- value seat. All sea­son- ticket hold­ers were au­to­mat­i­cally el­i­gi­ble for the draw­ing, and those se­lected could pur­chase up to two seats.

The Bron­cos’ web­site did not in­di­cate how many hold­ers would be se­lected.

Kayak. com showed a min­i­mum air­faire to and from Den­ver In­ter­na­tional Air­port and San Fran­cisco In­ter­na­tional Air­port on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8 of $ 340 as of Mon­day.
