Any good team with a superstar has players who perform well alongside him, and Houston’s James Harden has plenty of help, led by shooting guard Eric Gordon. Gordon checked in at 16.0 points per game, along with 3.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists, going into the Rockets’ game Thursday night. Talent, however, has never been an issue. His biggest accomplishment to this point has been his availability. Gordon has a complicated and extensive injury history, but he has been on the court for every game this season.

Nuggets: Will Barton said he’s “feeling good, feeling better” on a sprained left ankle that has cost him 11 games this season. “I think I’m ready to go,” he said. The Nuggets could use him. They’ve pieced together their shootingguard situation with Barton and Gary Harris out. Jameer Nelson has started at “two guard” of late. … Forward Darrell Arthur said he was still congested but returned to practice Thursday. He’s likely to play. … Nikola Jokic was added to the injury report with a left wrist injury and is listed as questionable to play.
