Nuggets:

This is the third of a six-game road trip for the Nuggets, who are 1-1 so far. They have lost five consecutive games to Brooklyn, which has swept the season series the past two years. The Nuggets are going into the game with a near-full deck of players, with only Nikola Jokic (wrist) and Gary Harris (foot) out because of injuries. The Nuggets are looking to repeat their defensive effort from a win at Philadelphia on Monday. They held the Sixers under 100 points, just the third time they’ve been able to keep an opponent away from the century mark this season. The Nuggets won all three of those games. Nets: Brooklyn has lost 10 of their last 11 games entering Wednesday’s contest. Those struggles include home games, although the one win in this span — over the Los Angeles Clippers — was at home and was a quality victory. The Nets are in the midst of a major rebuild under new coach Kenny Atkinson and new general manager Sean Marks. They’ve already made plays to sign Miami guard Tyler Johnson, Portland guard Allen Crabbe and Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas. But their offer sheets to those players were all matched by their original teams.
