Trump’s conflicts of interest

The Denver Post - - OPNION - Re: Jennifer Brown,

“Electing to quit business,” Dec. 1 news story.

Does anyone really believe that Donald Trump will fully divest himself of all his conflicts of interest? A man who won’t release his income tax returns — what is he hiding? A man whose children, son-in-law, and billionaire appointees clearly have his ear. A man who loves his Trump-brand hotels and resorts and the foreign diplomats and business partners who check into them. How will he fully and honestly disengage himself from his businesses, his brand, and his favored associates, and what evidence will we have for his claims to do so?

Mr. Toad of “Wind in the Willows” fame clung to Toad Hall and his motor cars; Mr. Trump shows no sign of changing his ways either.
