Nuggets: This is the fifth game in what has become a difficult-toswallow road trip. The Nuggets have lost three of their first four on this jaunt. While each game has had unique circumstances, the foundation of the losses remains painfully similar — and it starts with turnovers. The Nuggets are averaging 19.8 turnovers per game on this trip, including a season-high 29 in their loss at Washington on Thursday. Opponents are cashing in those turnovers for an average of 20.5 points. … There were two changes to Denver’s starting lineup against the Wizards, one because of Emmanuel Mudiay’s ankle injury. The point guard is questionable for Saturday’s game . ... The Nuggets dropped their season series with Orlando last season, losing both meetings. They are only 4-19 in their last 23 games at Orlando. … Rookie guard Malik Beasley was assigned Friday to Sioux Falls of the NBA D-League. Beasley, the 19th overall pick in the draft, has played in only nine games for Denver, averaging 2.9 points. Magic: Orlando will come into Saturday’s game on the second of a back-to-back set. The Magic played Charlotte on the road Friday night. … Orlando has lost four consecutive games at home. Its last win at home was Nov. 19 against Dallas. Christopher Dempsey, The Denver Post
