Rosga’s 25 points lead rally

mo­bile, ala.» Joe Rosga knocked down 5 of 10 3-point­ers and scored 25 points as Den­ver pulled away from South Alabama in the sec­ond half for a 64-51 vic­tory Tues­day night.

Ge­orgi Boy­anov’s three-point play with 1:06 left in the first half gave South Alabama the lead, and the Jaguars went into in­ter­mis­sion with a 26-22 ad­van­tage.

DU’s Daniel Amigo and C.J. Bob­bitt each hit jumpers to open the sec­ond half, knot­ting the score at 26-26, and Thomas Neff hit a 3-pointer to give the Pi­o­neers the lead for good, 31-28.

Rosga was 8 of 16 from the field and 4 of 6 from the line in lead­ing Den­ver (5-5). Amigo added 11 points and Bob­bitt had 10.

Ken Wil­liams scored 15 points to lead the Jaguars (6-4), who shot 17 of 54 from the field (31.5 per­cent) but just 2 of 22 from beyond the arc (9.1 per­cent).
