Dance: “Granny” cel­e­brates 25 years

The Denver orig­i­nal “Granny Dances to a Hol­i­day Drum” at the Cleo Parker Robin­son Theatre is a fam­ily-friendly show that hon­ors the hol­i­day tra­di­tions of cul­tures around the world with dance, mu­sic and spo­ken word. The show, now in it’s 25th year, fol­lows Granny as she re­lives her mem­o­ries from the Na­tive Amer­i­can Win­ter Solstice and Celtic Yule to the Chi­nese New Year and all the cul­tures in be­tween, bring­ing them alive for her grand­chil­dren. Per­for­mances are Fri­day at 7:30 p.m., Satur­day at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sun­day at 2 p.m. The Cleo Parker Robin­son Theatre is at 119 Park Ave. West.
