Teen pleads guilty in double-fatal crash.
The teenager accused of smashing into the back of a car stopped at a Boulder intersection and killing two people earlier this year pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of vehicular homicide and DUI, the Daily Camera reported.
Quinn Hefferan, 18, admitted in juvenile court Friday morning that he had smoked marijuana prior to the May 7 crash, then fell asleep at the wheel.
Joe Ramas and Stacey Reynolds were killed in the crash at Arapahoe Avenue and Foothills Parkway.
Hefferan faces up to two years in the Colorado Department of Youth Corrections on the vehicular homicide charge. Under the deal, any sentence for the DUI would be served concurrently with the vehicular homicide sentence.
