Spotlight on Austin Rivers:
Blake Griffin is out three to six weeks and will have minor knee surgery, and the player who could replace him in the starting lineup is none other than coach Doc Rivers’ son. Austin Rivers is having a nice season for the Clippers, averaging career highs in overall shooting percentage (.453) and from the 3-point line (.415). He has been particularly hot of late, averaging 15.8 points on 63.9 percent from the field, including 60.9 percent from behind the arc.
L.A. Clippers guard Austin Rivers has been hot lately.
