EX-PHILLIES SKIPPER GREEN DIES AT 82
philadelphia» Dallas Green, the tough-talking manager who guided the Phillies to their first World Series championship, has died. He was 82.
The Phillies said Green died Wednesday at a Philadelphia hospital. He had been in poor health for years.
Green spent 62 years in baseball as a player, manager, general manager, team president and other roles.
Bonds joins Giants’ camp

The 52-year-old home run champion reported Wednesday at the Giants’ complex. After his time in Arizona, Bonds will be a special adviser to Giants CEO Larry Baer.
