BODY OF CSU STU­DENT FOUND OFF FLORIDA

st. peters­burg, fla.» Sheriff’s of­fi­cials said they re­cov­ered the body of Colorado State Univer­sity stu­dent who dis­ap­peared while swim­ming in rough wa­ter off Florida’s west coast last week.

In a news re­lease, Pinel­las County Sheriff’s Of­fice of­fi­cials said a boater spot­ted the body Wed­nes­day night. Deputies re­cov­ered the body, iden­ti­fied as 21-yearold Jie Luo.

A group of 15 CSU stu­dents char­tered a yacht. Luo and crew mem­ber An­drew Dill­man, 27, went miss­ing March 14.

Luo was among five peo­ple who jumped from the boat to swim. Au­thor­i­ties said Dill­man jumped into the wa­ter when he saw Luo was strug­gling in the swift cur­rents. Nei­ther man was wear­ing a floata­tion de­vice.

Dill­man’s body was found by a boater Mon­day.
