The leader of a sex-trafficking ring that victimized adults and children has been found guilty by an Arapahoe County jury on 30 criminal counts.

Brock Franklin, 31, was indicted by a statewide grand jury in November 2015, according to the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office.

Among the charges of which Franklin was convicted Friday are human trafficking of a minor, pimping a child, patronizing a prostituted child and kidnapping.

The case, which was prosecuted under Colorado’s Organized Crime Control Act, included six co-defendants.

The victims — three girls and five women — cooperated with prosecutors, who believe there are additional victims, the DA’s office said.

Franklin’s sentence will be handed down after habitual criminal proceedings — which are scheduled to start in June — are complete.
