26-year-old sus­pect wanted in Fe­bru­ary shoot­ing in Jef­fer­son County

Jef­fer­son County author­i­ties are search­ing for a 26-year-old man wanted in a Fe­bru­ary shoot­ing that hap­pened dur­ing a botched mar­i­juana deal. Frank Ju­nior Sanchez is ac­cused of at­tempted mur­der. Sanchez is de­scribed as His­panic, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weigh­ing 195 pounds. In­ves­ti­ga­tors say he has black hair, brown eyes and acne scars on his face.

The shoot­ing hap­pened on Feb. 21. The man Sanchez al­legedly shot suf­fered life-threat­en­ing in­juries, but is ex­pected to sur­vive.

Sanchez is con­sid­ered armed and danger­ous and any­one who spots him should call 911 im­me­di­ately, in­ves­ti­ga­tors say.
