Illegal-fireworks bust in Pueblo uncovers 10 pounds of marijuana and guns
An illegal-fireworks bust in Pueblo also uncovered 10 pounds of marijuana and three illegal firearms, police said.
Investigators executed a search warrant about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Gaylord Avenue, according to Pueblo police.
Officers were acting on a tip that illegal fireworks were being sold from the residence.
More than 400 packages of fireworks, worth an estimated $8,474 were seized. Police also confiscated 10 pounds of marijuana and three firearms.
The homeowner, Jeanette Medina, 52, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use or sales of fireworks, possession with intent to manufacture or distribute marijuana and possession of a weapon by a previous offender. Medina was booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
