EEWasabi and ice cream may not sound like two things that should go together, but keep an open mind; the iconic duo for the ages of chocolate and peanut butter probably had its naysayers at first, too.

The key is the peach, whose sweetness tempers the spiciness of the wasabi. Both flavors come together in Liks’ characteristically creamy little scoops of happiness.

“Just enough heat to enjoy, and perfectly balanced with sweet, savory Colorado peaches,” said owner Jay Thompson of one of his favorite ice cream concoctions.

If you think about it, Liks’ Wasabi Peach ice cream is the perfect analogy for a Colorado summer: hot, but oh-sosweet and enjoyable.
