Thanks to Post’s Bruce Finley for environmental reporting

The Denver Post - - OPINION - Re: Bernard Leason,

“Hundreds of tiny trout hopefully feel at home,” July 18 news story.

If we could put aside the matter of our fake president for just a moment, I would like to heap some praise on reporter Bruce Finley of The Denver Post.

When most of the news seems dark and dreary, Finley always comes through. His front-page story in Tuesday’s paper is just such a marvel. Finley’s fine work on the environment, ecological struggle, and Colorado wildlife (trout, bear, coyote, etc.) is of a class all its own.

Praiseworthy, too, is The Post for giving Finley the space to inform all of us about what is really important in what, I suppose, would be called turbulent times.
