Surprised to find appreciation for George W. Bush

The Denver Post - - PERSPECTIVE -

Re: “Presidential paintings; Artwork by George W. Bush coming to Steamboat Springs,” July 20 Life & Culture story.

Never in a million years did I think I would be praising George W. Bush. It is so true, however, that everything is relative. I was happy to see his paintings and admire him now for keeping his opinions to himself regarding the current fake president and the horrid behavior of Donald Trump and his minions. He is obviously enjoying his retirement — despite some of the things he did while in office, mainly the Iraq war. Of course, he is a decent human being. The person in that office now doesn’t have a clue as how to be that. Sally Alberts, Monument
