SEN. GARDNER SOUNDS ALARM ABOUT N. KOREA

The Denver Post - - NEWS -

U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner is again sounding the alarm over North Korea after the rogue nation on Friday fired another missile toward Japan in its latest provocation of America and its allies.

“As North Korea’s Kim Jong Un continues to defy international sanctions and threaten the United States and our allies with another ballistic missile launch, our response is clear: We will not tolerate this belligerent behavior,” the Colorado Republican said in a written statement.

The Associated Press reports the ballistic missile flew longer than any of North Korea’s previous missiles and landed in the ocean off Japan.

Gardner has had several clashes with Kim in the past year, including calling the North Korean leader a “whack job” during a TV interview. Pyongyang’s Korean Central News Agency responded by saying Gardner was “psychopath” who had “perpetrated wicked blasphemy” against Kim.
