Several Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles offices experienced technical issues Friday afternoon and were unable to issue driver licenses.
DMV staff was working with “partners” to resolve the computer issues, according to a news release. The technical problems were intermittent, and not all offices experienced issues.
Online services were not impacted and were operating routinely on Friday.
Meanwhile, a DMV office in Colorado Springs was evacuated Friday afternoon because of a suspected explosive device. Bomb squad investigators wrapped up about 6:45 p.m. saying the building was clear.
