Day 3 Breakout players Three who had starring roles at Broncos training camp
Isaiah Mckenzie, WR. The 5-foot-7, 173-pound rookie wide receiver from Georgia flashed his speed and quickness on special teams and in the slot. He appears to have a firm hold on the top punt-return job as a fifthround draft pick.
Trevor Siemian, QB. The third-year pro, vying for the starting quarterback job, had his best day of camp, hitting Emmanuel Sanders on a pair of long touchdown passes in the left corner of the end zone during 7-on-7 work.
Demarcus Walker, DE. The rookie from Florida State, a second-round draft pick, deflected a pass from Paxton Lynch during team drills. “I like how he’s playing,” nose tackle Domata Peko said. “He’s really quick, he’s agile and he brings some good moves in there on the pass rush.”
