PEARCE SLAMS AGAIN; JAYS SCORE 7 IN NINTH TO BEAT AN­GELS 11-10

TORONTO» Steve Pearce hit his sec­ond game-end­ing grand slam in four days and Blue Jays pulled off the big­gest ninthin­ning come­back in team his­tory, ral­ly­ing for seven runs to beat the An­gels 11-10 on Sun­day.

Pearce con­nected with one out off Bud Nor­ris (1-4). Thurs­day, Pearce’s grand slam with two outs in the 10th in­ning lifted Toronto over Oak­land 8-4.

Matt Der­mody (1-0) pitched three in­nings for Sun­day’s win.

Al­bert Pu­jols hit two home runs for the An­gels, who were bid­ding for their first se­ries sweep since May.
