Aug. 6: Peo­ple of all ages can help plant, tend and har­vest more than 100 va­ri­eties of or­ganic veg­eta­bles, 9 a.m. to noon, free (tools pro­vided, bring wa­ter, a hat and sun­screen); kids can join the “Fu­ture Farm­ers’ Pro­gram,” which of­fers fam­ily farm projects and fun ac­tiv­i­ties, 10 a.m., free (ages 4-10).
