COLLINS» Fort Collins po­lice FORT trav­eled to Og­den, Utah, to ar­rest the sus­pect in the slay­ing of 65-year-old Wil­liam Grabusky, who was found Wed­nes­day.

Dy­lan Joseph Thomp­son, 18, was ar­rested Fri­day on charges of first­de­gree mur­der, tam­per­ing with a de­ceased hu­man body, ag­gra­vated mo­tor ve­hi­cle theft and unau­tho­rized use of a fi­nan­cial trans­ac­tion de­vice.

A fam­ily mem­ber of Grabusky had called po­lice to check on him, telling po­lice they hadn’t been able to reach him in sev­eral weeks.

When of­fi­cers checked his home, which is on Riva Ridge Place north of West Horse­tooth Road and west of South Col­lege Av­enue, they found his body. His car had been re­ported miss­ing but was found un­oc­cu­pied in Fort Collins.

Po­lice are still in­ves­ti­gat­ing the con­nec­tion be­tween Grabusky and Thomp­son. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about the case is asked to call Det.
