GREELEY CAR DEALER CHARGED WITH 166 COUNTS OF THEFT
A Greeley car dealer now faces 166 counts of theft in connection with organized crime and illegal business practices.
The Weld District Attorney’s office on Friday filed additional charges against Noman Boroumand, including include violations of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, theft, forgery, tax evasion, filing a false tax return and computer crimes.
Boroumand, the owner of 1st Choice Motors, was charged with more than 30 counts of sexual assault and human trafficking in June. The trafficking charges stem from allegations that he and another used-car dealer, Fares Alrashed, sexually assaulted as many as four women. Both men were indicted by a grand jury in late June. Boroumand’s bond is now set at $4.5 million. — Greeley Tribune
