Bryce Harper left the Nationals’ game against the Giants with an apparent left knee injury. While running out a ground ball to the right side of the infield in the first inning Saturday night, Harper stepped on first base, avoided contact with first baseman Ryder Jones and fell to the ground. Harper, who clutched his left knee after going down, was attended to by trainers. He put no weight on his left leg as he was helped off the field by a coach and athletic trainer. … Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg will make a minorleague rehab start Monday at Single-a Potomac.
