Let the holidays be a drag

SUNDAY. Between dropping all kinds of money and having to talk politics with Uncle George, sometimes the holidays can be a drag. This weekend will be a drag at the Bug Theatre, but in a good way. The Season is Slaying will bring together Denver’s best drag talent at 7 p.m., 3654 Navajo St. The evening, hosted by Vivica Galactica, will feature renditions of popular musical theater songs and ballads by Jessica L’Whor, Daniella and Daphne Decoteau, Candy Warhol and more. The audience is encouraged to sing along; bring some dollar bills and put the “slay” in sleigh. Tickets ($10 in advance, $15 at the door benefiting Equinox Theatre Company).
