Stok­ing more di­vi­sion

Though I don’t agree, I can un­der­stand Hugh He­witt’s glee in his opin­ion piece about the poli­cies in­sti­gated in the Trump White House — but at what cost? The tax cut for the wealthy will add tril­lions to our debt. (Where is the Tea Party?) The Supreme Court is now an­other po­lit­i­cal body that we can’t trust to be im­par­tial. (Repub­li­cans could have nom­i­nated many other qual­i­fied con­ser­va­tives.) And be­cause of the de­ri­sive machi­na­tions by Mitch McCon­nell, and Trump’s con­stant name­call­ing and lies, the feel­ings of in­jus­tice and di­vi­sion are con­tin­u­ally stoked.

I am dev­as­tated over the di­vide in this coun­try and hope that when the pen­du­lum swings
