East Lans­ing ichi­gan State re­turns 19 of its 22 starters from last year’s team, but that doesn’t guar­an­tee there won’t be some shuf­fling of the depth chart. With spring prac­tice com­plete and the play­ers not due to re­port again un­til Au­gust, it’s worth tak­ing a look at how the start­ing lineup could likely come to­gether for the Spar­tans ahead of the sea­son opener Aug. 31 against Utah State.

Here’s how we project the starters to shake out with a look at who else might be con­tribut­ing.
