Re-en­ac­tors look­ing for sup­port­ers

Or­ga­niz­ers of the an­nual War of 1812 Bat­tle of North Point Reen­act­ment and Cel­e­bra­tion are invit­ing in­di­vid­u­als and busi­nesses to help sup­port the free and pub­lic event.

The reen­act­ment or­ga­nized by the Dun­dalk-Pat­ap­sco Neck His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety and Mu­seum will be held dur­ing La­bor Day week­end on Sun­day, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort Howard Park.

Con­tri­bu­tions are due by Aug. 1 so that they can be in­cluded in the pro­gram for the event. They are tax de­ductible, and a re­ceipt will be pro­vided.

Busi­nesses con­tribut­ing $100 or more will be pro­vided with a wooden sol­dier for dis­play on their premises dur­ing the month of Au­gust.
