IMPROMPTU ROBBERY. An unknown suspect entered a restaurant in the 7600 block of German Hill Road on Saturday at 9:40 p.m. and reportedly asked for a glass of water and change for a dollar. When the waitress opened the cash register, the man allegedly grabbed money from the drawer. After a brief scuffle, the suspect escaped with some cash.
NOW THIS IS LOW. An unknown suspect approached a snowball stand in the 7800 block of Wise Avenue on August 17 at 11:17 a.m. and reportedly asked for a small snow cone. The man then allegedly produced a gun, threatened the employee and demanded money.
MORE ROBBERIES. The victim told police he was robbed by two men on Trappe Road at Wallford Drive on August 16 at 10:30 p.m. One of the suspects may have had a gun. Also on August 16, at 10:05 p.m., two known suspects entered a home in the 7400 block of Holabird Avenue through an unlocked back door and allegedly demanded money from the victims while threatening them with a handgun. The suspects fled with money, but were later taken into custody.
ATTACKER ARRESTED. The victim told police she was allegedly attacked by a man who grabbed her by the throat and held her against a wall on August 13 between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. in the 9300 block of Seabay Court. The attacker was later taken into custody.
THERE WAS THIS HEAT WAVE ... and someone entered a construction project in the 200 block of Chestnut Street between noon on August 13 and 4:51 p.m. on August 16 and reportedly removed two air conditioning units.
HOME BURGLARIES. Two bicycles were reported taken from the enclosed porch of a home in the unit block of Shipway between 9:30 p.m. on August 15 and 6:30 a.m. on August 16. Someone entered a home in the 2700 block of Wells Avenue on August 16 between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. and stole a television set and other items. Entry was gained by using a pry tool to open the front door. On August 17 between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., someone entered a home in the 1900 block of Frames Road and removed several items. Entry is thought to have been gained through a kitchen window.
