Concerts in the Park kicks off the season
One of Dundalk’s longstanding summertime traditions is back!
Concerts in the Park kicked off its 27th season last Thursday with a rousing performance by classic rock cover band No Drama.
Coordinated this year by Joe Buccheri, the concerts will be held each Thursday through Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Dundalk’s Heritage Park.
Next week’s featured performer is the Russ Greene Band (blues, rock), followed by Chris Presley (Elvis trib- ute) on July 27, Point Boys (classic rock) on Aug. 3, Family Tradition (country rock) on Aug. 10, Functionality (R&B) on Aug. 17 and Pet Rock (classic rock) on Aug. 24.
The Concerts in the Park are sponsored by the Dundalk-Eastfield Recreation Council, Dunmanway Apartments, the DundalkPatapsco Neck Historical Society, American Media Entertainment and Costas Inn.

The Russ Greene Band will perform blues and rock during Dundalk Concerts in the Park on Thursday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m.
The gazebo in Heritage Park will host a different band each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 24.
