Eli­nor Ar­lene Anseaume

Eli­nor Ar­lene Anseaume went to be with the Lord on Wed­nes­day, June 28, 2017 sur­rounded by her son, Homer; and daugh­ter, Chris­tine. Eli­nor was born on April 17, 1923 to Myr­tle and James Cox in Char­lottesville, VA. The se­cond child of five, she leaves a sis­ter, Vir­ginia Cas­sidy; sis­ter, Anona Hall; sis­ter, Beaulah Hyre; and brother, Carroll Cox pre­ceded her in death. She was raised in Spar­rows Point and lived in the Gray Manor and In­ver­ness ar­eas of Mary­land. Mar­ried to Homer Wal­ton (de­ceased) and later in life to Charles Anseaume (de­ceased). She leaves two chil­dren: Homer Wal­ton and Chris­tine Ze­ber­lein; five grand­chil­dren; seven great­grand­chil­dren; many nieces and neph­ews.

Eli­nor in 94 years has left many good mem­o­ries be­hind. Her prayers and can­dle burn­ing for loved ones will not be for­got­ten. She liked to cre­ate reli­gious songs and of­fered a help­ing hand to all.

The fam­ily sends a spe­cial thanks to the staff on the 4th floor of Stella Maris Hos­pice.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of her life will be held at a later date.
