Offering thanks to DRC, community

The Dundalk Eagle - - BY THE PEOPLE - William Feuer Dundalk

Dundalk Renaissance Corporation (DRC) board and the Dundalk Community,

I want to take a moment and thank you for the many ways that you have contributed to make Dundalk better!

Over the last six years on the board, the last three as the board president, I have had the opportunity to work with so many hardworking groups and individuals. It has been a honor to get to know so many business owners, community leaders, board members and passionate Dundalkians personally and I thank you for your friendship and the opportunity to learn from you and your work.

The DRC has worked on so many projects to improve Dundalk such as home renovations, holiday pop up shops, tree plantings and community events highlighting our main street. Thank you for your support and encouragement over the last 6 years.

I’m proud to have been a part of a board in a community with so much pride. And what an exciting time to be involved as we just had our ribbon cutting on our recently renovated building! And we just opened our business incubator, The Forge! Although my term limit has been reached, I will still be out volunteering for my beloved Dundalk. We have all worked so hard to make Dundalk better yet we must continue!

The writer is past president of the Dundalk Renaissance Corporation Board of Directors and a candidate for the Baltimore County Board of Education for District 7.
