The Depart­ment of Re­cre­ation and Parks can­celed all or­ga­nized recre­ational ac­tiv­i­ties un­til fur­ther no­tice. The Depart­ment has also ad­vised the County’s Re­cre­ation Coun­cils to can­cel or­ga­nized ac­tiv­i­ties. This can­cel­la­tion in­cludes all travel pro­grams out of state. All Depart­ment of Re­cre­ation and Parks build­ings are closed to the pub­lic un­til fur­ther no­tice. Vestibule ar­eas of the free-meal sites for youth 18 and un­der will be the only ex­cep­tion.

Open to the Pub­lic:

Bas­ket­ball courts (hoops will be in­stalled over the course of the next two weeks), Beaches (Rocky Point Beach and Park is open for life­guarded swim­ming.

Stan­dard park ac­cess rates are in ef­fect. Park ca­pac­ity is still lim­ited. Groups should be 10 or less, and ev­ery­one should prac­tice so­cial dis­tanc­ing.
