Party this Satur­day with Cold Gin

You’ll see many things dur­ing the 2020 Dun­dalk Vir­tual Her­itage Fair. You’ll see pic­tures of past fairs. You’ll see in­spi­ra­tional mes­sages from peo­ple you know. You’ll see Charles Parker’s tongue.

Parker is the front­man for Cold Gin, a KISS trib­ute band. If you’ve seen this band per­form be­fore, you know that they con­sider ev­ery de­tail when per­form­ing as a KISS trib­ute band. Parker told the Ea­gle last year that “you have to look and sound like them if you want to do a trib­ute band right.”

Cold Gin rocked Dun­dalk all night dur­ing the first day of the Dun­dalk Her­itage Fair in 2019. They were listed as head­lin­ers for the first day of con­certs.

Parker, who went on an ex­ten­sive search to form a KISS trib­ute band sev­eral years ago, He met three peo­ple liv­ing in Toronto, and would travel back and forth be­tween Toronto and Buf­falo, New York, to meet up with them.

Cur­rently, Parker plays the part of Paul Stan­ley. Erik Krakau plays the part of Gene Sim­mons. Randy Eastridge is Ace Frehley and Bobby Tay­lor plays Peter Criss. Cold Gin has per­formed its Kiss Trib­ute Band show for au­di­ences in Mary­land, Vir­ginia, Penn­syl­va­nia, New York, Delaware and other lo­ca­tions in the United States, ac­cord­ing to the band’s of­fi­cial web­site, www.cold­gin. com.

Parker also told the Ea­gle last year that it takes the band more than two hours to pre­pare for a show. The band­mates do their own makeup. Their cos­tumes are ei­ther hand­made or or­dered from var­i­ous cos­tume shops around Amer­ica.

Cold Gin rocked Dun­dalk in mid-sum­mer last year, and Dun­dalkians can party this Satur­day while watch­ing a per­for­mance by Cold Gin dur­ing the 2020 Dun­dalk Vir­tual Her­itage Fair.
