Steel Soul Cowboys still scheduled to appear at Virtual Heritage Fair
After rocking out to some of your favorite hits by KISS and AC/DC, switch gears and take in the country music sounds from Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys.
Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys are long-time veterans of the Dundalk Heritage Fair, and know the organizers quite well. Last year at the heritage fair, they performed Luke Bryan’s “Drink a Beer” and dedicated it to the memory of Tom Toporovich, a longtime Dundalk Heritage Association board member and beloved member of the Dundalk community.
Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys consists of front man Mark Bray, who also plays guitar. Dino Lisi, who also plays guitar; bassist Nicky Bruno; John McKenny on the keyboard; and Andrew Flohr on drums.
While watching Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys this weekend, you’ll see them perform a rendition of County Roads, the timeless country hit by John Denver. The song is performed only with an acoustic guitar and every member of the band singing part of it. Only, they were in different places while recording this version.
Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys went along with a major guideline we all are asked to follow – social distancing – and incorporated it into a performance. It’s a nice reminder of how we can still enjoy things we love while also doing our part to end this global pandemic.
We here at the Eagle think you will appreciate this performance Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys have put together for all of us. You love seeing them in person at the Dundalk Heritage Fair. We have no doubt you will appreciate watching them this weekend.
