Hearing seeks public input on school building improvements
Encouraging students, families and community members to share priorities for school improvements, renovations and new construction, the Prince George’s County Board of Education held a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) public hearing Sept. 15 at the Sasscer Administration Building in Upper Marlboro.
About 13 residents, including County Councilwoman Deni Taveras (D), testified before the board about what they would like to see included in the proposed 20182023 CIP budget for the Prince George’s County Public Schools system.
