Hol­ly­wood fire depart­ment aux­il­iary to host an­nual craft fair

The held at the Hol­ly­wood fire­house so­cial hall will be on Sun­day, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are many re­turn­ing ven­dors this year as well as sev­eral new ven­dors par­tic­i­pat­ing. There will be hand­made crafts, jew­elry, cloth­ing, art, dec­o­ra­tions, bas­kets, pic­tures, cup­cakes, wood carv­ings, var­i­ous Christ­mas items, hair ac­ces­sories, doll clothes, ceram­ics, quilts, jerky, jelly and more. The aux­il­iary will also be sell­ing a va­ri­ety of lunch sand­wiches, in­clud­ing ham­burg­ers, hot dogs, beef bar­be­cue and stuffed ham, as well as baked goods like cakes, pies and cook­ies. Stuffed ham will also be avail­able for pur­chase by the pound. There will be a din­ing area to sit.

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lau­rel Grove (next to the Ap­ple Bas­ket) will be hold­ing its on Satur­day, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will have de­li­cious food and bake sale, unique crafters and door prizes. All pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit the church and its mis­sions. Spon­sored by Sarah Cir­cle United Methodist Women.

St. Joseph’s Church in Mor­ganza will be hold­ing its

on Sun­day, Nov. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mother Cather­ine Academy in nearby He­len. On the menu will be coun­try ham, fried oys­ters, roast turkey and all the trim­mings. Cost is $25 for adults, $8 for chil­dren ages 6 to 12 and free for chil­dren younger than 6. Drive-through and carry-out din­ners are avial­ble. They will also fea­ture a bake sale, white ele­phant room and raf­fle.

The Lex­ing­ton Park Vol- un­teer Res­cue Squad will be host­ing

on Satur­day, Nov. 18, from 11 am. To 2 p.m. at the sta­tion lo­cated at 21685 FDR Blvd. in Lex­ing­ton Park. This fundrais­ing event is open to one ven­dor per brand at $25 per ta­ble. Food will be avail­able for pur­chase. For more in­for­ma­tion or to re­serve a ta­ble, call 301-481-1837.

The Me­chan­icsville Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment Ladies Aux­il­iary will be hold­ing its

on Sun­day, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fire­house lo­cated at 28165 Hills Club Road in Me­chan­icsville.
