Hollywood fire department auxiliary to host annual craft fair
The held at the Hollywood firehouse social hall will be on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are many returning vendors this year as well as several new vendors participating. There will be handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing, art, decorations, baskets, pictures, cupcakes, wood carvings, various Christmas items, hair accessories, doll clothes, ceramics, quilts, jerky, jelly and more. The auxiliary will also be selling a variety of lunch sandwiches, including hamburgers, hot dogs, beef barbecue and stuffed ham, as well as baked goods like cakes, pies and cookies. Stuffed ham will also be available for purchase by the pound. There will be a dining area to sit.

Zion United Methodist Church in Laurel Grove (next to the Apple Basket) will be holding its on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will have delicious food and bake sale, unique crafters and door prizes. All proceeds will benefit the church and its missions. Sponsored by Sarah Circle United Methodist Women.
St. Joseph’s Church in Morganza will be holding its
on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mother Catherine Academy in nearby Helen. On the menu will be country ham, fried oysters, roast turkey and all the trimmings. Cost is $25 for adults, $8 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 6. Drive-through and carry-out dinners are avialble. They will also feature a bake sale, white elephant room and raffle.
The Lexington Park Vol- unteer Rescue Squad will be hosting
on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 11 am. To 2 p.m. at the station located at 21685 FDR Blvd. in Lexington Park. This fundraising event is open to one vendor per brand at $25 per table. Food will be available for purchase. For more information or to reserve a table, call 301-481-1837.
The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be holding its
on Sunday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the firehouse located at 28165 Hills Club Road in Mechanicsville.
