If you’re installing your own gutters, check out an option called “chop & drop,” which is offered by many pro installers. The installer drives a seamless-gutter truck to your house, churns out the gutter lengths you need and drives away. This is a much better option because you won’t have seams in your gutters from joining the precut lengths available at home centers. If you choose a gutter color other than white, be sure you get all the end caps, downspouts and fasteners to match from the supplier. Home centers typically carry only white.
