LIHUE — On Satur­day, peo­ple are needed to count cig­a­rette butts and tooth­brushes.

It’s the Ocean Con­ser­vancy’s In­ter­na­tional Coastal Cleanup Day, and world­wide peo­ple will be join­ing to­gether to pull trash from beaches and cat­a­logue it into a data­base.
