Sa­muel Ka­mae III passed away on Aug. 31, 2017, at Wil­cox Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

Born on Jan. 2, 1941, in Honolulu, he was an ir­ri­ga­tion and har­vest su­per­vi­sor for Kauai Cof­fee Com­pany.

He was pre­ceded in death by fa­ther Sa­muel Ka­mae Jr., mother Glo­ria Ka­mae, broth­ers Thomas, Sam, Franklin and James Ka­mae, and sis­ters El­iz­a­beth Ka­mae and Rose­mary An­der­son.

He is sur­vived by wife Cleopa­tra Keaweamahi Ka­mae of Ana­hola, sons Sa­muel Ka­mae IV of Ana­hola, Tile Bula Ka­mae of Ana­hola and John Dispir­ito of Ka­paa, daugh­ter Melissa (Kyle Wong) Dispir­ito of Eleele, grand­chil­dren Kiana Nancy Ann Dispir­ito and Sarah Ho‘okahipu­uwaii Naoi Ka­mae Wong, brother Den­nis K. Ka­mae of Honolulu, sis­ters Lav­erna L. Beatly, Cyn­thia A. John­son, An­gela L. Tar­tar, May­den L. Ford, Jan­ice N. Soto, Marylin L. Ball and Martha Lou Kaio, all of Honolulu, and nu­mer­ous un­cles, aunts, nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the fam­ily on Satur­day, Sept. 23 at Gar­den Is­land Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where ser­vices will be cel­e­brated at 11 a.m.

The fam­ily sug­gests ca­sual at­tire.
