Samuel Kamae III
Samuel Kamae III passed away on Aug. 31, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Jan. 2, 1941, in Honolulu, he was an irrigation and harvest supervisor for Kauai Coffee Company.
He was preceded in death by father Samuel Kamae Jr., mother Gloria Kamae, brothers Thomas, Sam, Franklin and James Kamae, and sisters Elizabeth Kamae and Rosemary Anderson.
He is survived by wife Cleopatra Keaweamahi Kamae of Anahola, sons Samuel Kamae IV of Anahola, Tile Bula Kamae of Anahola and John Dispirito of Kapaa, daughter Melissa (Kyle Wong) Dispirito of Eleele, grandchildren Kiana Nancy Ann Dispirito and Sarah Ho‘okahipuuwaii Naoi Kamae Wong, brother Dennis K. Kamae of Honolulu, sisters Laverna L. Beatly, Cynthia A. Johnson, Angela L. Tartar, Mayden L. Ford, Janice N. Soto, Marylin L. Ball and Martha Lou Kaio, all of Honolulu, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.
