Sim­ple as­sault … Ben­jamin R. Brown, 52, of Gi­rard Av­enue, Glen­side, was charged with sim­ple as­sault and ha­rass­ment; and Tanya Figueroa, 47, of Gi­rard Av­enue, Glen­side, was charged with ag­gra­vated as­sault, sim­ple as­sault, reck­lessly en­dan­ger­ing an­other per­son and ha­rass­ment Nov. 11 af­ter a vic­tim re­ported that Brown and Figueroa as­sault her at her res­i­dence on Washington Lane, po­lice said. The vic­tim re­ported that af­ter hav­ing din­ner with Brown, he be­came en­raged when he re­ceived a phone call from Figueroa, and then slapped the vic­tim across the face at 1: 50 a. m., po­lice said. Brown left the res­i­dence and sev­eral min­utes later the vic­tim fol­lowed and found Brown with Figueroa in a ve­hi­cle parked in front of her home, po­lice said. Figueroa ex­ited her ve­hi­cle, grabbed the vic­tim by her cloth­ing and punched and slapped her sev­eral times, po­lice said. The vic­tim was trans­ported to Abing­ton Me­mo­rial Hospi­tal and treated for her in­juries, po­lice said.

DUI … Rachael Costello, 31, of Lin­den Av­enue, Southamp­ton, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance and care­less driv­ing Oct. 3 af­ter po­lice ob­served a white SUV slid­ing on a wet road­way and col­lide with bushes near the Ry­dal SEPTA sta­tion at 2: 28 a. m., po­lice said. The SUV pulled away from the bushes and con­tin­ued driv­ing on the road- way, po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle in the area of Washington Lane and Susque­hanna Road and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol on Costello’s breath, po­lice said. She failed field so­bri­ety tests and PBT tests showed her BAC was 0.213 per­cent, po­lice said. She was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal, where lab tests showed her BAC was 0.232 per­cent and Oxy­codone was in her sys­tem, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion of a firearm … Kristofer Cade, 34, of Up­land Way, Philadel­phia, was charged with car­ry­ing a firearm with­out a li­cense, pos­ses­sion of a firearm, pos­ses­sion of an in­stru­ment of crime and re­pair­ing and sell­ing an of­fen­sive weapon Nov. 11 af­ter po­lice ob­served a sil­ver Chevro­let Ta­hoe drive through a red traf­fic sig­nal at 1: 14 a. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle in the area of Mount Carmel and Maple av­enues and af­ter a check learned that Cade, a pas­sen­ger in the ve­hi­cle, had an ac­tive war­rant out of Philadel­phia, po­lice said. Po­lice searched Cade and found a loaded semi- au­to­matic pis­tol con­cealed in his pants, po­lice said. He had no li­cense for the weapon and was pro­hib­ited from pos­sess­ing a firearm un­der his crim­i­nal con­vic­tion, po­lice said.

Sim­ple as­sault … An­drew wemi­tis, 74, of Lukens Av­enue, Wil­low Grove, was charged with sim­ple as­sault and ha­rass­ment Nov. 8 af­ter a vic­tim re­ported that wemetis grabbed and shoved her and struck her in the eye dur­ing a domestic dis­pute at 11: 14 p. m. on the 1800 block of Lukens Av­enue, po­lice said. The vic­tim had bruis­ing around her left eye and bruis­ing on her left arm, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … At­ti­cus Weaver, 20, of Guernsey Av­enue, Abing­ton, was charged with re­tail theft and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty Nov. 11 af­ter a Gi­ant Food­store se­cu­rity guard ob­served Weaver con­ceal sev­eral items in his jacket and leave the store with­out paying at the Gi­ant in the 2300 block of Susque­hanna Road at 5: 30 p. m., po­lice said. He stole $ 11.97 worth of mer­chan­dise, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Howard McCon­nell III, 61, of Jack­sonville Road, Hat­boro, was charged with pub­lic drunk­en­ness Nov. 6 af­ter po­lice re­sponded to a report of an in­tox­i­cated man both­er­ing cus­tomers in front of the Kmart by the Wil­low Grove Park mall at 6: 01 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice found McCon­nell sit­ting on nearby bench in­tox­i­cated, po­lice said.

Un­der­age drink­ing … Alexan­der Arho­takis, 18, of Tyson Av­enue, Philadel­phia; Thomas Cole­man III, 19, of Shel­ley Road, Huntingdon Val­ley; Francesca Scar­lota, 19, of Loney Street, Philadel­phia; Thomas Don­nelly, 20, of Fron­tenac Street, Philadel­phia; and Colleen Don­nelly, 18, of Fron­tenac Street, Philadel­phia, were cited for un­der­age drink­ing af­ter po­lice ob­served a parked ve­hi­cle on the 300 block of Ev­er­green Road at 2: 54 a. m., po­lice said. All the oc­cu­pants in­side the ve­hi­cle ad­mit­ted to drink­ing, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Jamile Green, 31, of Cottman Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 10 af­ter po­lice ob­served him uri­nat­ing in the ship­ping area near the Bloom­ing­dale’s at the Wil­low Grove Park mall at 7: 16 p. m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Troy Lofton, 20, of Limekiln Pike, Glen­side, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 10 af­ter po­lice ob­served a ve­hi­cle in a park­ing lot on the 1300 block of Eas­ton Road at 11: 51 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice ap­proached the ve­hi­cle and de­tected the odor of mar­i­juana coming from in­side the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Lofton ad­mit­ted to pos­sess­ing mar­i­juana, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Me­gan Kerns, 29, of Fair­field Drive, Warmin­ster, was charged with pub­lic drunk­en­ness Nov. 12 af­ter po­lice ob­served her stag­ger­ing along the area of Old York Road and Roy Av­enue at 2: 25 p. m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Brad­ford Dar­ling, 33, Sut­cliffe Lane, Con­shohocken, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 13 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle in the area of Old York and Susque­hanna roads at 5: 01 a. m., po­lice said. Po­lice found a small amount of mar­i­juana in the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Robert Der­rick III, 25, of Elm Street, Warmin­ster, was cited for re­tail theft Nov. 16 af­ter a Gi­ant se­cu­rity guard ob­served Der­rick at­tempt­ing to leave the store with $ 24 worth mer­chan­dise he did not pay for at 5: 37 p. m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Do­minic Mallozzi, 20, of Field­crest Av­enue, Norristown, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 16 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle in the area of Eas­ton and Dav­isville roads at 9: 32 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated drug para­pher­na­lia from the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Un­der­age drink­ing … Kyle Rodgers, 20, of Unity Turn, Le­vit­town, was charged with un­der­age drink­ing Nov. 17 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle on the 1500 block of Old York Road at 1 a. m., po­lice said. Rodgers ad­mit­ting to con­sum­ing an al­co­holic bev­er­age, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Rickie Ross, 34, of On­tario Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 17 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle in the area of Old York Road and Ho­race Av­enue at 9: 27 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated a small amount of mar­i­juana from the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Kyle Thom­men, 19, of Pre­ston Av­enue, Wil­low Grove, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 17 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle in the area of Colo­nial Av­enue and Susque­hanna Road at 8: 57 p. m., po­lice said. Thom­men, the pas­sen­ger in the ve­hi­cle, was in pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Janella John, 19, of Ogontz Av­enue, Philadel­phia; and Bri­anna Brown, 19, Lafayette Av­enue, Elkins Park, were cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 17 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle on the 1400 block of Old York Road at 1: 12 p. m., po­lice said. John and Brown, pas­sen­gers in the ve­hi­cle, ad­mit­ted to be­ing own­ers of a small amount of mar­i­juana po­lice con­fis­cated from the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Theft … An un­de­ter­mined amount of cop­per pipe, valves and fit­tings was taken from a stor­age trailer at a con­struc­tion site in the 7800 block of North Front Street be­tween 4 p. m. Nov. 16 and 6 a. m. Nov. 19, po­lice said. The lock was cut off in the forced en­try of the trailer, po­lice said.

Bike stolen … A black Trek moun­tain bike, val­ued at $ 650, was stolen from the side of a home in the 100 block of East Glen­side Av­enue over the week­end of Nov. 17, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Les­lie Irvin, 51, of the 6500 block of North Limekiln Pike, Philadel­phia, was cited for re­tail theft Nov. 19 af­ter tak­ing $ 50 worth of goods from Burling­ton Coat Fac­tory, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave., around 4: 40 p. m., po­lice said.

Sus­pi­cious per­son … A res­i­dent re­ported Nov. 19 that a bald, white male in his 50s op­er­at­ing a blue or green Toy­ota Corolla has been ha­rass­ing and mak­ing com­ments to a fe­male stu­dent wait­ing for a school bus be­tween 6: 45 and 7 a. m. in the 200 block of East Church Road, po­lice said. There have been six in­cents over the last two months, po­lice said.

Ha­rass­ment … New Vi­sion Thrift Shop, 36 Limekiln Pike, re­ported Nov. 20 that 75, 8- by- 11inch signs were all over the side­walk in the area of the store with a

deroga­tory mes­sage re­gard­ing the store, po­lice said. Numer­ous sings were also found strewn about the side­walk out­side Glen­side Cus­tom Clean­ers, 100 Limekiln Pike, po­lice said.

Crim­i­nal mis­chief … A land­scape brick was thrown through a rear win­dow of a home in the 1700 block of Gra­ham Lane overnight Nov. 20, po­lice said.

ID theft … A res­i­dent re­ported Nov. 21 that sev­eral fraud­u­lent charges were made to the vic­tim’s credit card and debit card and un­suc­cess­ful at­tempts had been made to open credit cards in the vic­tim’s name, po­lice said.

War­rant … John Tarsnoh, 23, of the 7500 block of Bev­erly Road, Philadel­phia, was taken into cus­tody at 1: 30 p. m. Nov. 21 in the 1900 block of East Washington Lane on an out­stand­ing Chel­tenham war­rant, po­lice said. Tarsnoh was ar­rested and charged with rob­bery, theft, re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty and reck­lessly en­dan­ger­ing an­other per­son for al­legedly car­ry­ing out two rob­beries at gun­point, one Oct. 22 and one Nov. 1, po­lice said. He was ar­raigned be­fore District Judge Christo­pher Cer­ski and taken to Mont­gomery County Prison in lieu of bail set at $ 1 mil­lion, po­lice said.

Theft … JC Mel­rose Coun­try Club, 7500 Tookany Creek Park­way, re­ported Nov. 21 that six thefts of golf hole flags, each val­ued at $ 205, oc­curred over the pre­vi­ous week, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … A 16- year- old Norristown girl was cited for re­tail theft Nov. 22 af­ter tak­ing $ 183.29 in goods from Path­mark, 1000 S. Eas­ton Road, po­lice said.

Theft … A black, wrist­let style purse was re­ported lost or stolen by a woman while shop­ping at Bare Feet Shoes, 1000 S. Eas­ton Road, around 1 p. m. Nov. 22, po­lice said. The purse had iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, a credit card and $ 5 cash in it, po­lice said.

Bur­glary … A com­puter, TV and game sys­tem were taken dur­ing a bur­glary of a home in the 1700 block of West Chel­tenham Av­enue be­tween 3: 30 and 8 p. m. Nov. 22, po­lice said. En­try was made by forc­ing a base­ment door and the home was ran­sacked, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Three women and a man took a pair of sneak­ers and 30 sweat­shirts from Jimmy Jazz, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave. around 8: 40 p. m. Nov. 21, po­lice said.

Theft … An iPhone 4S was stolen by two men from the counter at Ham Ah Mar­ket, 7300 Old York Road, Elkins Park, around 4: 15 p. m. Nov. 23, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Two women in their 20s stole an un­de­ter­mined amount of mer­chan­dise from the Wine & Spir­its store, 123 S. Eas­ton Road, Glen­side, around 7: 10 p. m. Nov. 23, po­lice said. The women left the store, each car­ry­ing a purse- like bag filled with mer­chan­dise, and were last seen in a sil­ver sedan headed south­bound on Eas­ton, po­lice said.

Fire … A couch was on fire out­side a home in the 200 block of Hewett Road at 3: 35 a. m. Nov. 25, and spread to a win­dow of the house, caus­ing mi­nor dam­age and burn- ing through the elec­tri­cal ser­vice, Fire Mar­shal Joe O’Neill said. The cause of the fire was un­de­ter­mined and still un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice said.

ID theft … A res­i­dent re­ported Nov. 25 that an un­known per­son used the vic­tim’s name as a cosigner on a lease agree­ment in Cal­i­for­nia, which had a to­tal past due of $ 1,735, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Ken­neth Hodge, 55, of the 7200 block of Limekiln Pike, Philadel­phia, was cited for re­tail theft Nov. 25 af­ter tak­ing $ 174.66 in goods from Tar­get, 2450 Shop­pers Lane, around 12: 40 p. m., po­lice said.

As­sault … Jerome Adams, 36, a res­i­dent of the Crestview Nurs­ing Home, 1245 W. Church Road, was charged with ag­gra­vated as­sault, sim­ple as­sault, reck­lessly en­dan­ger­ing an­other per­son and ha­rass­ment fol­low­ing an in­ci­dent at the nurs­ing home be­tween 9 p. m. and mid­night Nov. 17, po­lice said. Adams, who is in a wheel­chair, al­legedly as­saulted a 35- year- old male res­i­dent of the nurs­ing home fol­low­ing an ar­gu­ment over food, po­lice said. The vic­tim suf­fered cuts and bruises and was trans­ported to a hospi­tal for treat­ment, po­lice said. Adams was ar­rested Nov. 19 and ar­raigned be­fore District Judge Christo­pher Cer­ski, who set bail at $ 50,000 cash, and he was taken to Mont­gomery County Prison.

Theft … Prin­cepaul Brown- King, 22, of North 22nd Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with theft and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty for al­legedly steal­ing an EMS ra­dio from Chel­tenham EMS, 8230 Old York Road, Nov. 8, po- lice said. Brown- King had been as­signed to the EMS to do com­mu­nity ser­vice, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … An­thony Gian­netti, 23, of the 2200 block of Ter­wood Av­enue, Huntingdon Val­ley, was cited for pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana and trav­el­ing the wrong di­rec­tion on a road­way Nov. 20 af­ter po­lice ob­served a sil­ver Subaru travel the wrong way down the 800 block of Green­wood Av­enue at 12: 18 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle and de­tected the odor of mar­i­juana coming from in­side the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated a mar­i­juana cig­a­rette from the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Theft … A vic­tim re­ported that $ 100 worth of items were stolen from his ve­hi­cle Nov. 21 at 4: 15 p. m., po­lice said. The vic­tim said he had parked his ve­hi­cle at 8 p. m. the pre­vi­ous evening in front of his res­i­dence on the 90 block of Run­nymede Av­enue, po­lice said. When he was leav­ing for work the next morn­ing he no­ticed his glove box was open and items scat­tered on the floor, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … An­thony M. Murphy, 24, of the 400 block of York Road, was cited for pub­lic drunk­en­ness and dis­or­derly con­duct Nov. 21af­ter po­lice ob­served him fight­ing with an­other male in the park­ing lot on the 400 block of York Road at 11: 48 p. m., po­lice said. Au­thor­i­ties ob­served him yelling and curs­ing at the other male, po­lice said. He was

DUI … Eu­gene Gold­shteyn, 30, of the 9800 block of Bon­ner Street, Philadel­phia, was cited for driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol Nov. 22 af­ter po­lice ob­served a sil­ver Mercedes Sedan mak­ing an il­le­gal right turn onto the 700 block of Green­wood Av­enue at 2: 25 a. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle in the 100 block of Old York Road and de­tected the odor of an al­co­hol coming from the Gold­shteyn, po­lice said. He failed field so­bri­ety tests and was trans­ported to the Fas­track for test­ing, po­lice said. Lab re­sults are pend­ing, po­lice said.

Po­lice l earned t he l ac­er­a­tion was caused af­ter Bro­gan had f allen down on t he pave­ment, po­lice said. Po­lice ob­served t hat Bro­gan was highly i ntox­i­cated and he was t r ans­ported t o Abing­ton Me­mo­rial Hospi­tal and t r eated f or his i njuries, po­lice said.

Lower Moreland

Fraud … A res­i­dent of the 2000 block of Shady­wood Cir­cle re­ported he re­ceived a de­liv­ery at his home Nov. 21 at noon that he hadn’t or­dered. Upon in­ves­ti­ga­tion, the home­owner’s credit card was used to pur­chase a $ 780 baby stroller.

Fire … On Nov. 25 at 12: 34 p. m. po­lice re­sponded to the 2700 block of Huntingdon Pike for a report of a res­i­den­tial chim­ney fire. Upon ar­rival, po­lice found the home­owner on the roof spray­ing water into the chim­ney. No dam­age was done to the house.

False alarm … On Nov. 24 at 1: 57 p. m. po­lice re­sponded to the 2500 block of Kirk Drive for a tripped se­cu­rity alarm. Upon ar­rival po­lice found the door stand­ing open and mu­sic play­ing from in­side. The home was found to be un­oc­cu­pied. Po­lice se­cured the home.

False alarm … On Nov. 23 at 7: 01 p. m. po­lice re­sponded to a se­cu­rity alarm in the 900 block of Robin Lane. Upon in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice found the front door un­se­cured, but noth­ing was dis­turbed in­side. The home was then se­cured by po­lice.

False alarm … On Nov. 24 at 1: 13 a. m. po­lice were dis­patched to the 3100 block of Buck Road for a bur­glary alarm. Upon ar­rival, po­lice found the rear door of the home was un­se­cured, but a search of the in­te­rior re­vealed noth­ing out of or­der. The door was then se­cured.

False alarm … On Nov. 24 at 1: 24 a. m. po­lice re­sponded to the 900 block of Warfield Lane for a tripped bur­glary alarm. Upon ar­rival, po­lice found the front dou­ble doors ajar. Upon in­spec­tion of the in­te­rior, po­lice found ev­ery­thing to be in or­der. The doors were then se­cured.
