Superintendent to retire
The Cheltenham School Board approved the early retirement of Superintendent Darlene Davis at the Nov. 13 school board meeting.
Davis submitted a letter of resignation to the school board Nov. 5 to give the board time to find her replacement, according to an email issued by the school district.
The board is just beginning the search process for a new superintendent and hopes to have one in place by the new school year, said Director of Com- munications and Development Susan O’Grady.
Davis will officially conclude her tenure June 30.
