Pos­ses­sion … Sean Hin­ton, 34, of Birch­wood Av­enue, Roslyn, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia and op­er­at­ing a ve­hi­cle with­out rear lights Nov. 1 af­ter po­lice ob­served a dark col­ored Honda with an in­op­er­a­ble tail­light at 1: 06 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle in a park­ing lot in the T00 block of Fox Chase Road and de­tected the odor of mar­i­juana coming from the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Au­thor­i­ties con­fis­cated a small amount of mar­i­juana from in­side the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Bruce Joell, 22, of Mel­lon Road, Wyn­cote, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia Nov. 6 af­ter po­lice ob­served a white Chevy Im­pala trav­el­ing with an in­op­er­a­ble break light at 10: 09 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle in the 1800 block of Dav­isville Road and ob­served a book bag next to Joell’s feet, po­lice said. Po­lice searched the bag and con­fis­cated two plas­tic bags and a glass cylin­der con­tain­ing sus­pected mar­i­juana, po­lice said. Lab tests showed that Joell was in pos­ses­sion of ap­prox­i­mately 2.01 grams of mar­i­juana, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Daniel Fer­rara, 54, of Shake­speare Drive, Vir­ginia Beach, Va., was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance, fail­ure to drive within the lane, pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled or coun­ter­feit sub­stance, pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia Nov. 11 af­ter po­lice ob­served a ve­hi­cle trav­el­ing at a slow rate with a flat tire, po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle at Old York and Jeri­cho roads at 12: 23 a. m. and ob­served that Fer­rara had blood shot eyes and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol on his breath, po­lice said. Fer­rara failed field so­bri­ety tests and po­lice searched the ve­hi­cle and con­fis­cated a mar­i­juana cig­a­rette and ua­nax pills, po­lice said. Fer­rara was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal and tests showed his BAC was 0.065 per­cent and he had mar­i­juana in his sys­tem, po­lice said.

DUI … Austin C. Romine, 65, of Pa­trick Court, Am­bler, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance and driv­ing with high beams lit Nov. 12 af­ter po­lice ob­served a blue Audi trav­el­ing with high beams lit at 9: 28 p. m., po­lice said. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle at Eas­ton Road and Ru­bi­cam Av­enue and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol coming from his breath, po­lice said. Po­lice asked Ro­maine to per­form field so­bri­ety tests, but said he could not be­cause he had sev­eral med­i­cal con­di­tions. He was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal and tests showed his BAC was 0.114 per­cent, po­lice said.

DUI … Michael F. Klenk, 24, of Broad­way Av­enue, Hat­boro, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance and op­er­at­ing a ve­hi­cle with­out rear lights Nov. 16 af­ter po­lice ob­served a white Chevy pickup truck trav­el­ing with the an in­op­er­a­ble break light, po­lice said. Au­thor­i­ties stopped the ve­hi­cle at Eas­ton and Dav­isville roads and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol on his breath, po­lice said. Klenk failed field so­bri­ety tests and PBT tests showed his BAC was 0.183 per­cent, po­lice said. He was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal and lab tests showed his BAC was 0.1T6 per­cent, po­lice said.

DUI … Jared M. Jasin­ski, 23, of Ox­ford Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled sub­stance Nov. 22 af­ter po­lice re­sponded to the report of a two- ve­hi­cle ac­ci­dent at Town­ship Line and Jenk­in­town roads, po­lice said. Po­lice ap­proached Jasin­ski and ob­served he had slurred speech and de­tected the odor of al­co­hol on his breath, po­lice said. Jasin­ski ad­mit­ted to drink­ing four beers ear­lier that night, po­lice said. He was trans­ported to Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal and tests showed his BAC was 0.236 per­cent, po­lice said.

Bur­glary … Christo­pher Flume, 28, of Eas­ton Road, Glen­side, was charged with bur­glary, crim­i­nal tres­pass, theft by un­law­ful tak­ing or dis­po­si­tion and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty Nov. 23 af­ter po­lice re­sponded to the report of a bur­glary in the 100 block of Tyson Av­enue in North Hills around 1: 45 p. m., po­lice said. The vic­tims re­ported that an es­ti­mated A9,900 worth of items were miss­ing from their bed­room in­clud­ing sev­eral pieces of jew­elry, po­lice said. The vic­tims said that in the past Flume had stolen from them, po­lice said. Po­lice went to Clark’s Coins and Jew­elry on the 30 block of East Glen­side Av­enue and iden­ti­fied some of the jew­elry de­scribed by the vic­tims, po­lice said. The store clerk iden­ti­fied Flume as the in­di­vid­ual who bought the jew­elry in, po­lice said.

Forgery … Yuli Erazo, 18, of 80th Street, nueen, N. Y., was charged with forgery, pos­ses­sion of an in­stru­ment of crime, theft by un­law­ful tak­ing or dis­po­si­tion, theft by de­cep­tion and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty Nov. 28 af­ter Bloom­ing­dale’s se­cu­rity ob­served Erazo us­ing coun­ter­feit money in mul­ti­ple trans­ac­tions at 5: 50 p. m. at the Bloom­ing­dale’s in the Wil­low Grove Park mall, po­lice said. Erazo pur­chased A1,369 worth of mer­chan­dise and ob­tained A133 in ac­tual United States cur­rency, po­lice said. The coun­ter­feit bills were con­fis­cated from Erazo and she was trans­ported to the Abing­ton Po­lice De­part­ment to await ar­raign­ment, po­lice said.

Re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty … Wal­ter Win­stead, 20, of Pierce Av­enue, Wil­low Grove, was charged with re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty Dec. 3 af­ter a vic­tim re­ported that she found a gun in her ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. The vic­tim con­fronted Win­stead about the gun and he said it was his, po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated the gun and am­mu­ni­tion and no­ti­fied county dis­patch who re­vealed that the gun, which was val­ued at A1,319, had been re­ported stolen from Soud­er­ton, po­lice said. Win­stead was trans­ported to the Abing­ton Po­lice De­part­ment for pro­cess­ing, po­lice said.

Pos­ses­sion … Christof­fer J De Vries, 23, of Dunks­ferry Road, Ben­salem, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a small amount of mar­i­juana Dec. 1 af­ter po­lice ob­served a gold Pon­tiac trav­el­ing at a high speed with ex­tremely dark tinted win­dows. Po­lice stopped the ve­hi­cle at Susque­hanna and Meet­ing­house roads and ob­served blunt cigars, to­bacco and mar­i­juana residue in­side the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Po­lice con­fis­cated a plas­tic bag con­tain­ing mar­i­juana in it, po­lice said.

Sim­ple as­sault … Bran­don L. Sheats, 2T, of Fern Road, Glen­side, was charged with sim­ple as­sault, ter­ror­is­tic threats and ha­rass­ment Dec. 2 af­ter he threat­ened a vic­tim’s life and then pushed her to the ground dur­ing a domestic dis­pute in the 600 block of Fern Road at 2: 0T a. m., po­lice said.

Bur­glary … Pa­tri­cia Hig­gins, 2T, of Sum­mit Av­enue, Jenk­in­town, was charged with bur­glary, re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty, crim­i­nal tres­pass and theft by un­law­ful tak­ing or dis­po­si­tion Dec. T af­ter she en­tered the res­i­dence of her former em­ployer in the 2500 block of Jenk­in­town Road and stole sev­eral pieces of jew­elry, cash and check books be­tween 9 a. m. and 6 p. m., po­lice said. Au­thor­i­ties were able to lo­cate some of the items at the Chel­tenham Pawn Shop lo­cate in the 8100 block of Ogontz Av­enue, that were pawned by Hig­gins, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Mi­lan Milosavl­je­vic, 25, of Madi­son Road, Wil­low Grove, was cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Dec. 1 af­ter po­lice re­sponded to a report that Milosavl­je­vic was cre­at­ing a dis­tur­bance on a SEPTA bus that was stopped at Old York Road and Madeira Av­enue at 8: 15 a. m., po­lice said. Po­lice found Milosavl­je­vic be­hind the Out­back Steak House Restau­rant in the 600 block of Old York Road with a small amount of mar­i­juana on his per­son, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Philip DiBattista, 32, Grant Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Dec. 3 af­ter Holy Redeemer Hospi­tal se­cu­rity ob­served him tak­ing food from the cafe­te­ria with­out paying at 1: 28 p. m., po­lice said. He was also in pos­ses­sion of a small amount of drug para­pher­na­lia, po­lice said.

Pub­lic drunk­en­ness … Nikki Sin­gle­ton, 2T, of Swede Road, East Nor­ri­ton, was cited with pub­lic drunk­en­ness af­ter po­lice found Sin­gle­ton, heav­ily in­tox­i­cated, sit­ting in a parked ve­hi­cle on the 1900 block of Huntingdon Pike at 12:18 p.m., po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Sean Hin­ton, 34, of Birch­wood Av­enue, Roslyn, was cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Dec. 5 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle in the 2000 block of Hamil­ton Av­enue at 2:44 p.m., po­lice said. A small amount of mar­i­juana was found in the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Bran­don Boy­land, 20, of North 12th Street, Philadel­phia, was cited with re­tail theft af­ter JC Pen­ney se­cu­rity ob­served him con­ceal A149 worth of store mer­chan­dise and left the store with­out paying at 5: 3T p. m. at the JC Pen­ney in the Wil­low Grove Park mall, po­lice said. Boy­land re- en­tered the store a short time later and at­tempted to re­turn the items he stole, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … Jack­son Cofer, 20, of Ivy Hill Road, Le­vit­town, was cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Dec. 6 af­ter po­lice stopped a ve­hi­cle on Susque­hanna Road and Colo­nial Av­enue at 6: 02 p. m. and dis­cov­ered drug para­pher­na­lia in the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said.

Chel­tenham

Ve­hi­cle theft … A red Chevy Colorado work truck, PA li­cense YTS8340, was stolen from the 2000 block of Mather Way be­tween T p. m. Dec. 20 and 5 a. m. Dec. 21, po­lice said.

Theft … A man said his wal­let was stolen at the Home De­pot, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave., around 9: 40 a. m. Dec. 19 when he placed it down while work­ing at the lo­ca­tion, po­lice said.

War­rant … Percy Thompson, 42, of the 3800 block of North 9th Street, Philadel­phia, was taken into cus­tody on an out­stand­ing Philadel­phia war­rant dur­ing a ve­hi­cle stop at Old York Road and Academy Lane at 11: 33 a. m. Dec. 21, po­lice said.

Theft … Coins and lighters were taken from a locked ve­hi­cle parked in the 1900 block of Chel­tenham Av­enue be­tween 12: 30 and 5: 05 p. m. Dec. 20, po­lice said.

Theft … A large pur­ple book bag con­tain­ing AT00, school books, keys and a So­cial Se­cu­rity card was stolen from the Cedar­brook Plaza, 1000 S. Eas­ton Road, Dec. 21, po­lice said.

Bur­glary … A home in the 300 block of Pax­son Av­enue was re­ported bur­glar­ized at 8: 19 a. m. Dec. 22, po­lice said. A bed­room had been ran­sacked, but noth­ing ap­peared to be miss­ing, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … A black male wear­ing a dark blue sweater and jeans, car­ry­ing a black back­pack, stole un­known items from RiteAid, 1401 Chel­tenham Ave., at 8: 43 a. m. Dec. 22, po­lice said, and left on foot, walking to­ward the city.

Re­tail theft … A black male, 6 feet 4 inches, with a goa­tee, wear­ing a black coat vest with a long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes stole a pair of Timer­land boots val­ued at A125 from a store in the 8100 block of Ogontz Av­enue around 9:15 a.m. Dec. 22, po­lice said. The man left in a light blue Cadil­lac sedan with a white tag, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Michael A. Durham, 22, of the 5900 block of Reach Street, Philadel­phia, was cited for re­tail theft Dec. 22 af­ter us­ing pli­ers to re­move the sen­sors and tak­ing A90.95 worth of goods at Burling­ton Coat Fac­tory, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave., around 11:45 a.m., po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Michael :DU­fiHOG, 59, RI WKH 2100 block of Chel­tenham Av­enue, was cited for re­tail theft at 3:31 p.m. Dec. 22 at Tar­get, 2450 Shop­pers Lane, af­ter tak­ing A58.61 in goods, po­lice said.

War­rant … Fred­er­ick Everly, 36, of the 600 block of Ten­nis Av­enue, Abing­ton, was taken into cus­tody at T:51 p.m. Dec. 22 at Chel­ten Hills and Old York Road on an out­stand­ing Mont­gomery County war­rant, po­lice said.

Theft … An Ap­ple MacBook Pro, 9 Paiste drum cym­bals and A5 in quar­ters were taken from an un­locked ve­hi­cle parked in the 100 block of Jef­fer­son Av­enue be­tween mid­night Dec. 22 and 1 p.m. Dec. 23, po­lice said.

Van­dal­ism … A win­dow screen on a case­ment win­dow was found cut and dam­aged at a home in the 200 block of Grove Av­enue at 10:04 a.m. Dec. 24, po­lice said.

Theft … A wal­let was re­ported stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Gra­ham Lane at 8:24 p.m. Dec. 24, po­lice said.

War­rant … Keith Hol­loway, 35, of the 2800 block of Frank­ford Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was taken into cus­tody at the Wawa, 82 Limekiln Pike, at T:55 p.m. Dec. 24 on an out­stand­ing Mont­gomery County war­rant, po­lice said.

Re­tail theft … Michael Dam­brosia, 29, of the 100 block of West Hamil­ton Street, Chal­font, was cited for re­tail theft at 11: 18 a. m. Dec. 26 af­ter tak­ing A118.25 in goods from Home De­pot, 2385 W. Chel­tenham Ave., po­lice said. Dam­brosia was also wanted on a war­rant from Bucks County, po­lice said.

Van­dal­ism … A res­i­dent of the 8200 block of Brook­side Road re­ported Dec. 26 that a dog leash had been cut off the prop­erty’s rail­ing and thrown into the bushes and a dog bowl was miss­ing, po­lice said.

Theft … A purse left on a chair in the wait­ing area at No­vacare, 3201 Chel­tenham Ave., was re­ported stolen at 5: 50 p. m. Dec. 26. The vic­tim said when she re­turned af­ter ther­apy the purse, con­tain­ing house keys, was miss­ing and her res­i­dence was sub­se­quently found to have been bur­glar­ized us­ing the keys, po­lice said.

Graf­fiti … The west wall of the Cedar­book mall in the 1000 block of South Eas­ton Road was found with graf­fiti painted on it at 11: 11 a. m. Dec. 2T, po­lice said.

War­rant … Johnette David­son, 25, of Cin­namin­son, N. J., was turned over to Chel­tenham po­lice on an out­stand­ing war­rant at 11: 48 a. m. Dec. 2T, po­lice said. David­son had been picked up in Cam­den, N. J., and she was picked up by Chel­tenham po­lice at the Cam­den prison, po­lice said.

As­sault … Aaron Smith, 3T, of the 100 block of Jef­fer­son Av­enue, was charged with sim­ple as­sault and ha­rass­ment af­ter he al­legedly as­saulted his wife around 9: 40 p. m. Dec. 2T, po­lice said.

Jenk­in­town

Domestic dis­tur­bance … Charges are pend­ing against Gretchen C. Husser, 40, of the 100 block of Run­nymede Av­enue, Jenk­in­town, af­ter po­lice were called to the 100 block of Run­nymede Av­enue Dec. 25 for the report that Husser was de­stroy­ing the home of a vic­tim and al­legedly hav­ing a break down at 4:08 p.m., po­lice said. Po­lice found Husser in the kitchen of the res­i­dence scream­ing and curs­ing, po­lice said. She re­sisted ar­rest and at­tempted WR WDNH Dn RI­fiFHU’s fiUHDUP, po­lice said. Husser was taken into cus­tody and trans­ported to Abing­ton Me­mo­rial Hospi­tal for an eval­u­a­tion, po­lice said. Dur­ing her eval­u­a­tion she scratched the arm of an RI­fiFHU, SROLFH sDLG. 3ROLFH later learned that Husser’s be­hav­ior was a re­sult of al­co­hol con­sump­tion, po­lice said.

Dis­or­derly con­duct … James H. Ogle­tree, 19, of the 300 block of Spring Mill Road, Ply­mouth Meet­ing, was cited with dis­or­derly con­duct Dec. 29 af­ter po­lice stopped a blue Hyundai on York Road for driv­ing at a high speed at 12:21 a.m., po­lice said. Po­lice ob­served that Ogle­tree ap­peared ner­vous and had glassy eyes, po­lice said. Au­thor­i­ties searched the YHKLFOH DnG FRn­fisFDWHG D small amount of mar­i­juana and smok­ing pipe with residue on it from the cen­ter con­sole of the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Ogle­tree was later re­leased to a sep­a­rate party, po­lice said.

Lower Moreland

Fraud … On Dec. 2T at 8: 44 p. m. a res­i­dent of the 3600 block of Marc Lane re­ported some­one had made on­line pur­chases in Brook­lyn, N. Y., on her debit card. The vic­tim re­ported that the card was used in var­i­ous lo­ca­tions 12 times, with a to­tal value of A1,500, po­lice said.

Theft … On Dec. 26 at 1:30 p.m. a sales­man for Feretti Mo­tors on Philmont Av­enue re­ported a stolen reg­is­tra­tion plate, which was dis­cov­ered stolen Dec. 24, po­lice said.

False alarm … On Dec. 2T at 8:25 p.m. po­lice were dis­patched to World of An­i­mals vet hospi­tal for a tripped se­cu­rity alarm. Upon ar­rival, po­lice found an un­se­cured door, but it did not ap­peared forced open, po­lice said. Po­lice searched the prop­erty and found ev­ery­thing to be in or­der.

False alarm … On Dec. 26 at 12:22 p.m. po­lice re­sponded to a se­cu­rity alarm in the 3T00 block of Blake Road. Upon ar­rival, po­lice found the rear door par­tially open. In­ves­ti­ga­tion of the home re­vealed noth­ing ap­peared dis­turbed and po­lice se­cured the prop­erty upon leav­ing, po­lice said.

Sus­pi­cious per­son … On Dec. 26 at 10:11 p.m. a res­i­dent of the 3900 block RI 6KHI­fiHOG DULYH UHSRUWHG that on Dec. 24 at 5:45 p.m. a man was stand­ing at her side door, po­lice said. The home­owner asked what he wanted and asked for her, but did not give a rea­son why, po­lice said. When asked who he was he replied, “a fam­ily mem­ber,” then left the area, po­lice said.

The home­owner be­lieved it was the son of a fam­ily friend and was able to get the car’s reg­is­tra­tion, po­lice said. A ve­hi­cle check turned out pos­i­tive, po­lice said.

The home­owner re­quested the in­ci­dent only be doc­u­mented and that ex­tra pa­trol in her area be con­ducted.
