Ge­orge Weirich, Ab­ner Huntzberger, Ben Nice Jr., at­tended the Col­lege All­Stars and Philadel­phia Ea­gle’s foot­ball game at Philadel­phia, Monday night.

El­wood Wag­ner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mil­ton Wag­ner, State Street, Ham­burg, re­cently en­listed in the Army Air Corps en­listed re­serve.

The ag­gres­sive Broom Works Ten banged out six hits in the first two in­nings of their fi­nal In­dus­trial Softball league game last Thursday evening. Good for five runs, they net­ted the Brooms a 6- to- 2 vic­tory over Price and put them in a tie with. Berks Foundry for sec­ond place in the league stand­ing.
