Sept. 1: The Ham­burg Po­lice re­port that on Sept. 2 at ap­prox­i­mately 1: 35 p. m., an in­ci­dent of Dis­or­derly Con­duct was in­ves­ti­gated. This oc­curred in the area of Grand St. / S. 3rd St. when a ju­ve­nile driver came to a stop for a stop sign at this in­ter­sec­tion. The driver then peeled out smok­ing his tires for sev­eral sec­onds be­fore mak­ing a right turn. Due to the Ham­burg- er Festival sev­eral pedes­tri­ans were alarmed by the driver’s ac­tions and called for po­lice in the area. A ci­ta­tion was is­sued to the ju­ve­nile driver.

Sept. 3: The Ham­burg Po­lice re­port that on Sept. 3 at ap­prox­i­mately 9: 15 p. m., an in­ci­dent of Driv­ing Un­der the In­flu­ence was in­ves­ti­gated by po­lice. This oc­curred in the 1000 block of S. 4th St. when po­lice re­ceived a re­port of an er­ratic driver. Po­lice ar­rived in the area to find the sus­pect ve­hi­cle had crashed. It was then dis­cov- ered that the driver, Peter Guldin, age 41 of Read­ing, was in fact driv­ing while in­tox­i­cated. Charges are pend­ing the re­sults of a blood test.

Sept. 6: The Ham­burg Po­lice re­port that on Sept. 6 at ap­prox­i­mately 2: 20 p. m., a Bur­glary was in­ves­ti­gated by Po­lice. This oc­curred in the unit block of N. 3rd St. when a res­i­dent re­turned home to find two masked sus­pects in his home. One of the sus­pects at­tacked the res­i­dent who was later able to walk to the po­lice sta­tion and have po­lice dis­patched. This in­ci­dent is cur­rently un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
