Appalachian RV show offers something for every automotive taste
Clint Baker, Bethel, wins 1st in car class; Brian Wisniewski of Shoemakersville wins 1st in bike class
Saturday, Sept. 30 was a “Double Feature” day for car show enthusiasts in Northern Berks County.
Salem- Berne UMC and Appalachian RV Resort once again teamed up to share the date and coordinate their activities so interested parties could attend and participate in both events.
The nightcap event was the 7th Annual Car Show,
Bike Show and Cruise at Appalachian RV Resort in Shartlesville.
The show attracted 21 cars and trucks plus a half- dozen motorcycles and there was something for every automotive taste from classics and street rods to exotics.

3rd place: Chris Moore, Topton, 2003 Ultima GTR
Bike Class 1st Place: Brian Wisniewski, Shoemakersville, 2003 Harley- Davidson V- Rod
2nd place: Matt Eckert, Laureldale, 2005 Harley Davidson Fatboy
3rd place: Marvin Nevin, Rehrersburg, 2002 Harley Dyna Wide Glide
Special Awards Cruisers Choice: Don Eck, Macungie, 2005 Ford Mustang
People’s Choice: Jeff Felix, Hellertown, 1947 Studebaker M5 pickup
Brian Wisniewski of Shoemakersville took top honors in the bike class with his 2003Harley- Davidson V- Rod.
Chris Moore’s bright red 1981Shelby Cobra sparkles like a jewel in the late September sun.
Among the local winners was Lee Brison of Hamburg. Lee’s 1932Chevy coupe garnered second place among the cars entered.
