The Philadel­phia Whiz Kids bas­ket­ball team will op­pose the Hamburg Re­cre­ation League team in a ben­e­fit game in the Hamburg Field House at 8 p. m. on Nov. 25. The game is be­ing played for the ben­e­fit of the Hamburg Moose Lodge 523’ s eye­glass fund.

The Rev. Martin L. Zirkle, pas­tor of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Tilden Twp., dis­cussed “the Thanks­giv­ing Leg­end” at yes­ter­day’s meet­ing of the Hamburg Ex­change Club. His talk touched upon some un­com­mon parts con­cern­ing the hol­i­day.
