It was de­cided at the meet­ing in town hall on Mon­day evening that Bor­ough Coun­cil will cospon­sor the erec­tion of an Honor Roll of cit­i­zens serv­ing in the Armed Forces of the na­tion. Coun­cil­man Paul Heffner was named to head a com­mit­tee of lo­cal civic, fra­ter­nal, re­li­gious and ser­vice or­ga­ni­za­tions, which will de­ter­mine the de­sign, size and lo­ca­tion of the board, and share in its cost.

Charles M. Kern, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Ru­fus E. Kern, South Third Street, Ham­burg, will be or­dained into the Chris­tian min­istry at spe­cial ser­vices to be held in St. John’s Lutheran Church Sun­day evening.

Charles Adams, county agent, was the guest of Wil­liam R. Wer­ley, at Ex­change Club, yes­ter­day. He spoke on “Farmer’s Par­ity.”

Mr. and Mrs. Don­ald Etch­berger and sons moved from State Street, Ham­burg, to Min­ersville, on Tues­day.

Pupils of Beghon School of Mu­sic will present their fifth an­nual recital in the for­mer Moose Hall, South Fourth Street, Ham­burg on Nov. 15.

Ham­burg High School’s Hi- Y Club will take two pho­to­graphs of any fam­ily with a son or rel­a­tive in the armed forces, free of charge, as their part in the Snap Shots from Home League be­ing spon­sored by the Y. M. C. A.
