Oct. 28: The Hamburg Po­lice re­port that on Oct. 28 at about 11 p. m., an in­ci­dent of As­sault with a Weapon was in­vesti- gated. Po­lice re­sponded to the area of S. 4th Street and Pine Street to help a 31- year- old Read­ing man, who re­ported hav­ing a lac­er­a­tion to his hand. The vic­tim stated that he was walk­ing on State Street and Prim­rose Street when he was ap­proached by three ju­ve­nile males. One of the males dis­played a knife and the vic­tim at­tempted to de­fend him- self. Dur­ing the al­ter­ca­tion the vic­tim sus­tained lac­er­a­tions to his hand and had lost a sig­nif­i­cant amount of blood. The vic­tim was trans­ported to the hos­pi­tal for treat­ment. This in­ci­dent is cur­rently un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

Nov. 1: The Hamburg Po­lice re­ported that on Nov. 1 at about 3: 47 p. m., an in­ci­dent of Theft was in­ves­ti­gated by po­lice. This oc­curred at the Dol­lar Gen­eral in Hamburg when two males and a fe­male en­tered the store and be­gan tak­ing items out of their pack­ag­ing and con­ceal­ing them on their per­son. When con­fronted by Dol­lar Gen­eral Em­ploy­ees the three sub­jects f led the scene in a green sta­tion wagon. This in­ci­dent is cur­rently un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
